Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using Catalog Booster AI (“the app”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. These terms apply to all merchants who access the app through the Shopify App Store.

2. Description of service

Catalog Booster AI is a Shopify embedded application that scans your product catalog, scores product detail pages for content quality, generates AI-powered improvement proposals and enables you to publish approved changes to your Shopify store with rollback capability.

3. Shopify requirements

You must have an active Shopify store to use the app. Use of the app is subject to Shopify's Terms of Service. We are an independent app developer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by Shopify Inc. beyond our status as a Shopify Partner.

4. Subscription and billing

Catalog Booster AI offers paid subscription plans (Core, Growth, Scale, Agency) billed through Shopify's billing system in USD. Charges appear on your Shopify invoice. Plans are billed monthly. You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the app settings. Overage charges for additional scans beyond your plan allowance require your explicit confirmation before being applied.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app to generate content that is misleading, fraudulent, or violates applicable law
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the app's AI models or proprietary scoring logic
• Share your account credentials or allow unauthorised access to your store through the app
• Use the app in a way that violates Shopify's Terms of Service or Partner Program requirements

6. AI-generated content

All AI-generated proposals are suggestions only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing and approving any content before publishing it to your Shopify store. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific products. You retain full ownership of your product content and any modifications you publish.

7. Intellectual property

The Catalog Booster AI application, including its scoring algorithms, UI and brand assets, is owned by Catalog Health. Your product data and store content remain your property at all times. We claim no ownership over content you create or publish using the app.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Catalog Health shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data loss, or store downtime. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by uninstalling the app from your Shopify store. We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 48 hours per our Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.
